Okay folks, I am going to do *one* kimchi pop up this spring of 1) traditional mak kimchi (roughly chopped napa cabbage kimchi with salted shrimp and anchovy sauce; 2) a vegan mak kimchi made with gf tamari; and 3) kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi with salted shrimp and anchovy sauce.)

All of the kimchis will have scallions, ginger, garlic, seasonal radish, puréed apple and onion and a special 3 yr aged maesil (a fermented green plum syrup). I'll order as many seasonal/local and/or organic ingredients as possible.
All are GF/DF.
To order, place your order via the Merle + Topaz shop. It will drastically help me to reduce labor vs taking individual messages as I have done in the past.

I'm accepting orders now through March 1.

Pickup in Hale-Page-Diamond Lake Sun. March 12 10am-3pm or Mon. 3/13 5-9pm. In your order, ***please state which day you are picking up.*** I will be setting out orders for no-contact porch pickups and you'll get a message from me with my address after you submit your order. I don't have spoons to arrange individual orders outside this time so if you can't pick up you'll need to arrange for someone else to come by during one of the offered slots.

Quart jars are $22 and half-gallon jars are $40.

I'm doing this all as pre-order. I will make a couple of summer kimchis, like oi kimchi (cucumber kimchi), but this will be the only opportunity to order cabbage and radish kimchis from me this year as these are cool weather vegetables and seasonally made during cool months. I am using fall for grant activities and don't plan to sell in the fall.

I can ship jars anywhere in the US via USPS priority at the price of their flat rate boxes. I will invoice you separately for shipping if you are not local and need your order shipped. Please note in your order if you want to have your order shipped to you. One half gallon or two quarts fit in a large flat rate, for example. Single quarts will be put in the next smallest box.
